For funded founders preparing a launch

Product design for startups, from direction to a working release.

I'm Dan Andrews. I work directly with founders to decide what the product should be, design the interface and build a release people can use. One senior person, accountable end to end.

The problem

Funding raised, launch date set, product still unclear

Early teams often have a strong thesis and a deadline but no settled product shape. Splitting direction, design and build across agencies and freelancers adds hand-offs just when speed matters. I keep those decisions in one place.

Start here

Product Direction — £5,000 per week

  • Frame the problem and the people it's for.
  • Shape the product and the first release's scope.
  • Leave with a clear, documented direction and next steps.

One or two weeks. When it's time to build: Product Release from £50,000, scoped first. For continued leadership: Design Partnership from £12,000 per month.

FAQ

Practical questions

Where should a funded startup begin?
Usually with Product Direction: one or two focused weeks at £5,000 per week to frame the problem, shape the product and agree what the first release must do. You leave with a clear direction whether or not we continue.
Do you build as well as design?
Yes. Product Release engagements, from £50,000 and scoped together first, take the work from interface design through to a working release.
Who will I actually work with?
Me. There are no account managers or hand-offs to juniors; the person you speak to is the person doing the work.
Do you work with teams outside the UK?
Yes. I'm UK-based and work remotely with clients, in English, with calls arranged in overlapping hours.
What if we need ongoing design leadership?
A Design Partnership, from £12,000 per month, gives an agreed monthly allocation for continued product and design work.
What happens after I enquire?
I read every enquiry personally and reply by email. If it looks like a fit, I'll send a link to book a short call.
